Loved splashing in the charming pond full of water-lilies. The beautiful estate, with its vineyards and orchards, was a joy to explore. Joining in the grape harvest was a unique experience. Vegan options available. Hiking, climbing, and fishing added extra fun to my stay.
Blankets on the beds were clearly designed for summer in Antarctica.

We recently visited Figueriro dos Vinhos and stayed at Quinta do Sobral, a hidden gem in Portugal. Our stay was for 4 nights and we couldn't have asked for a better experience. The hotel grounds are beautifully landscaped with vineyards and fruit trees, creating a serene and picturesque setting. The rooms are comfortable and well-appointed, with the option for heated or cold flooring. The highlight of our stay was the superb swimming pool and garden area, perfect for relaxing in the Portuguese sun. The flexibility of breakfast time was also a great perk. The small town location had a friendly vibe, with two good restaurants nearby and easy access to cultural sites.

Lovely pond with blooming water-lilies, surrounded by vineyards & orchards. I had so much fun joining their agricultural activities during grape harvest season! Oh, and they even have vegan breakfast options! WiFi, seating area, satellite TV. Isn't that amazing?
Being a posh lady, I couldn't find anything to complain about! I was just too busy enjoying my time there.

Loved joining the grape harvest, although I have no idea what I was doing. The Roman-style garden was a great place to pretend I was a goddess. Oh, and the breakfast options were to die for, especially as a vegan!
My only complaint would be that there weren't enough activities for me to show off my amazing skills. I mean, they didn't even have a croquet court or a tea sommelier.

For the price we paid, we got great value! The room was spacious and comfortable, with a lovely bathroom for some pampering. The location was perfect, surrounded by beautiful nature and just a short drive away from the village and restaurants. The staff treated us like guests in their own home, providing helpful recommendations and ensuring our stay was enjoyable.
The breakfast menu could use some improvement, maybe adding some hot options like eggs or sausages to complement the continental spread.
